Building Tectonics rebuild & digital marketing

Building Tectonics hired us to help them improve the performance of their website and ultimately score some new work through online marketing.

We rebuilt their site from the ground up using valid CSS/XHTML, moving away from their old tables based site, enabling much greater accessibility and a fighting chance for search engines to get a good index. We also made some minor design tweaks, making sure a basic grid was obeyed and implementing greatly simplified navigation.

Since re-launching, we’ve integrated WordPress as a blog platform and delivered a stack of content for Building Tectonics to publish in order to maintain frequency, researched a lot of keywords to form a list that’s being used to boost targeted search traffic, and helped get them onto Google Places to support their local findability.

To complete the circle, we’ve helped Building Tectonics take bigger and bolder steps in the world of social media, engaging with existing clients and potential customers on Twitter in the local area and at a national level about wider issues.

We’ve significantly bumped their traffic up, but of course it’s still early days to see where we can take them.
